Star Mega Jam excites Busta Rhymes, Ludacris




Busta Rhymes and Ludacris, the two international artistes featuring in the upcoming Star Mega Jam 2009, have promised music lovers in Nigeria the best performances ever witnessed at a live music concert. According to them, featuring in Star Mega Jam, Nigeria’s most exciting and enduring music concert which draws a multitude of music fans would give them the much cherished opportunity to reach out to a large number of their fans in Nigeria.

Both artistes are very excited about the upcoming show. Perhaps, taking a cue from other international stars who have also appeared on the Star Mega Jam stage, Busta Rhymes implored Nigerians to come out in their numbers to have fun.

“Nigeria, nothing do you”, he said. Busta Rhymes, one of hip-hop’s most enduring iconic figures and acknowledged among rap’s greatest lyricists and performers, believes pressure is a natural phenomenon in life that can spring forth beautiful, planetary wonders.

Then again, it can bring chaos and mayhem if not properly managed. Yet it is a necessary force that separates the weak from the strong, the real from the fake and the mediocre from the extraordinary. Busta Rhymes’ many international pop, rap and urban top tens has extended well over a decade.

Ludacris described as hip hop highest –selling southern hip-hop solo artiste of all time with over 24 million records sold worldwide, 16 Grammy nominations, out of which he has won 6. The music star, who is working on his seventh major album release” Battle of the sexes” which focuses on the differences between men and women says he wants his fans to feel like they are part of the music.

His acting career remains on an enviable trajectory. After Star making appearances on the NBC drama Law and Order SVU,the Oscar_winning Crash and the Independent film sensation Hustle & Flow,Ludacris stands as one of the most_in demand actors in Hollywood.

They would be joined by Nigeria’s biggest twin singing sensation P_Square, D’Banj, Faze, Timaya, and 9ice to thrill music lovers at the concert holding in Lagos at Lagos Polo Club on December 11 and Old Parade Ground, Abuja on December 12th,2009.

Also on the bill are past Star Quest winners KC Presh, Diamonds and The Pulse as well as hot debutants Wande Coal, Bracket and M. I. It’s the tenth edition of the annual international music concert and Star, the nation’s number one lager is poised to make this a memorable one for music lovers nationwide.
