Uche Jombo presents “The Damage Movies”



Actress cum screenwriter Uche Jombo’s studio is set to premiere its first set of movies titled “The Damage Movies” in July. In a release from the studio, “The Damage Movies” is “a collection of three movies with distinct yet interwoven stories, [that are] aimed at advocacy for social issues.

Each story addresses important problems affecting individuals, families and societies at large”. The first to be released is titled “Damage” and “deals with the issue of domestic violence and the psychological effect it could have especially on the children”, the official synopsis reads.
Next, “My Life, My Damage” will star Tonto Dikeh as its lead act and depicts the “consequences of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS” in the lives of young adults while the last from the series will be “My Country, Their Damage” and will focus on “the issue of human trafficking”.

Speaking on “The Damage Movies”, the actress and Future Awards Actor of the Year nominee said, “while at the Future Awards event, I was moved and inspired to do something great and make a positive impact.”
