Mel Gibson reaches divorce deal with longtime wife

Actor Mel Gibson and his longtime wife have reached a deal in their two-year-old divorce case, attorneys told a Los Angeles judge on Tuesday.

Christy Essien-Igbokwe, Nigeria's lady of songs dies


It’s a very sad day for the music industry in Nigeria…

News reaching us is that the Lady of Songs and former President of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Chief (Mrs.) Christy Essien-Igbokwe has passed away.

The musician/actress (Apeno in the New Masquarade), mostly known for her massive 80s hits “Seun Rere” and “Ever Liked My Person” is believed to have passed today after a brief illness.

Her last major appearance was at the finale of Nigerian Idol in March.

Sound Sultan welcomes baby boy


R&B artist Sound Sultan real name Olanrewaju Fasasi and wife welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on Sunday June 26 2011. A statement from his management company Jarmzone Entertainment, revealed that the baby was born in a hospital located at Festac.

According to the artist who confirmed that both the mother and child are doing great, this is a sign of more blessings to come. "God is great. The birth of my son is a sign of great blessings to come" he said.
