Organisers of the monthly standup comedy talent search show cum live comedy performance by acclaimed comedians, ‘Joker at Terra', have revealed the lineup for the June edition, which will hold on Saturday, June 4, at Terra Kulture in Lagos.
According to Darlington Abuda, the managing director of Peekaboo Global Consulting, the event's PR company, the June edition will feature performances from comedians including Seyilaw, MC Abbey, Elenu, Ajibade, Erem the ajebota comedian, Funnybone, Mc Shakara, and the winner of the last edition, Kolo Man.
He further revealed that the show was initiated to "address the falling standards of comedy in Nigeria, and this we believe is being achieved with every edition of the show because of the various steps of the competition, which is uniquely original to the Joker at Terra and thus, with a myriad of qualitative performances, we plan to provide a mirthful weekend that will be a fitting culmination of the excitement felt by Nigerians in this inauguration period," Abuda said.
The winner of this edition will walk away with a grand prize of N50, 000, amongst other benefits. ‘Joker at Terra' is a monthly comedy talent search show which debuted in February 2011.
