Dede Mabiaku resurfaces at Koga One Night stand

Hibernating Afro beat act, Dede Mabiaku, will resurface at the KOGA One Night Stand taking place next Friday at the KOGA Events Centre, Oregun, Lagos.

A staunch disciple of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Dede has not been too active on the music scene in recent time, devoting more time to his acting career and judging briefs on music reality television shows. The trained thespian says his decision to be part of the KOGA One Night Stand is because of his belief in the cause the event which is promoting live music performances.

“I will definitely be on stage to show lovers of good music and followers of Afro beat music that this genre is still very alive and vibrant, and that I’m always available to entertain and thrill them.” Fuji music star, Abass Akande Obesere and comedian, Klint Da Drunk are the other entertainers billed to perform at the show.

According to a KOGA executive, Elsie Oluku, “Everyone needs a dose of entertainment in their life and that is what this event is committed to doing; providing large doses of entertainment in a serene ambience.”
