Happy Birthday, Beyonce! You’re 30 Today, September 4!

Grammy-winning singer and mom-to-be Beyonce turned 30 Sunday!

The Houston, Texas native rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of R&B girl band Destiny's Child which fast became one of the best-selling female groups of all time.

In April 2008 she married rapper and music mogul Jay Z after six years together and in January 2012, she is set to take on her most important role to date as she becomes a mom for the first time.

Beyonce always said she wanted kids by the time she was 30 and now her dream is coming true — she’s pregnant!

The singer announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards a week ago.
