America’s star comedian, Mike Epps storms Nigeria for Rhythm Unplugged



One of the United States of America’s foremost comedians, Mike Epps will headline the December 18 edition of this year’s Harp Rhythm Unplugged concert slated for the indoor hall of exquisite Eko Hotels and Towers. He will not be alone at the show which many have described as the ultimate show in December.

Cecil Hammond, Flytime Entertainment boss and organiser of the concert who guarantees a bigger and better show, disclosed that Mike efforts will be supported by some top Nigerian comedians like Basketmouth, I Go Dye, Gordons, Bovi and Buchi.

And on the 23rd of December at the Ocean View restaurant in Victoria Island Lagos, Harp takes the centre stage again as the much talked about second Lagos edition of the Rhythm Unplugged holds.

Billed to perform at the concert are awards winning 2Face, P Square, 9ice, Wizkid, Banky W, Tiwa Savage and the Chocolate City Boys.

Others are Mighty, Flavour, Naeto C, Sound Sultan, Lynxxx, David O, Olamide, Waje, SamKlef, Eva, Mo Cheddah, Seyi Shay, Goldie, Konga, Loose Kaynon, Retta, Skidd, Chidinma and Bez.

Billed to hold in four major cities across the country, this year’s edition of the Rhythm Unplugged concert began in Abuja, the Federal capital territory.

Speaking on the new deal between his company and Guinness Nigeria Plc, Flytime Entertainment Chief Executive, Cecil Hammond said, ‘I am excited about this partnership, the coming together of two great brands in Harp and Rhythm Unplugged.

The Abuja event held on October 7, 2011 with performances by Dr. Sid, Whiz, D’Prince, Wande Coal, MI, Jesse Jags, Duncan Mighty, Tiwa Savage, Flavour and Sound Sultan.

Top comic acts including AY, Basket Mouth, I Go Die, Bovi, Buchi and humor merchant himself, Gordons were also there.

The Harp Rhythm Unplugged train moves onto Lagos to Port Harcourt and Benin.
