When the name Queen Ure Okezie pops up in conversations, it most times has to do with discussions on Nigerian singer Soul E’s life and career or because of her recently-declared undying love for 2face Idibia.
But little did we know that the former bank employee and only daughter of the former late Minister of Agriculture, Dr J.O.J Okezie
has followed the line of her ex-husband as she has been honing her
skills as a singer; not giving up on her ambition to become a star
singer and hit-maker.
We’ve been told Ms Okezie is set to release her first ever single ‘A better place’ under Ikenga Entertainment Inc. headed by A&R veteran Chris Kehinde Nwandu. As described by Ikenga, Okezie delivers the song in English with spices from Yoruba, Ibo and Hausa language.
A full album is expected to drop later on this year.
