Darey’s much awaited third album ‘DOUBLE DARE’, has finally been given a release date.
The double disc album which contains hit singles like the electric ‘The Way you are’ and soulful ‘Don’t let me know’ will be released on Monday, February 28, 2011 through his Soul Muzik label imprint.
Darey who recently released another two singles ‘Sisi Eko’ and ‘Banikidi’ only raised the anticipation level of the album as fans can’t wait to hear what the double disc album will sound like.
Volume 1 tilted ‘HEART’ will see Darey exploring the true R&B genre he started with and has been known for along the years, with slow and mid tempo melodies not leaving out some Highlife fusion tracks as well.
Volume 2 titled ‘BEAT’ on the other hand contains up-tempo songs which will show another side of Darey, as he uses his vocal prowess to take on rhythmic dance tunes filled with heavy percussions and catchy grooves.
Darey set a standard when he released is sophomore effort ‘unDAERYted’ in 2009, bagging awards and earning the title ‘King of R&B’. Will he topple this current success with ‘DOUBLE DARE’? One thing is for sure, the fans are going to be entertained.
