DJ Zeez joins Serengeti Records

As controversial as the song, 04kasibe may be, it is like a national anthem and it was the song that shot its exponent, DJ Zeez, to prominence.



Having ended his contract with Edlyne Records recently, DJ Zeez has landed a mega deal with one of the top record labels in town, Serengeti Records.

His manager, Tunde Peters, DJ Zeez said he was highly thrilled to be associated with the Ngozi Ezeala owned record label.

“I never knew that such a label still existed in Nigeria. The industry is saturated with musicians yet the label agreed to work with us and even gave us what we asked for,” he said.

Zeez said he made up his mind to sign for the company when he had a one-on-one interview with the CEO of the label.

“She is very likeable and focused on improving the welfare of all artistes on the label,” he said.

Ezeala, in her own remarks, said she had always been a fan of DJ Zeez and jumped at the opportunity of bringing him to Serengeti Music to work in the state-of-the-arts studios, Prootools.

Declining to go into the specifics of the deal, she only stated that it was a deal that made the artiste very happy and excited the label.

She said that the label would soon release the latest single by DJ Zeez in addition to videos and other promotional materials.

DJ Zeez joins the growing list of talents on the Serengeti label, which include Godwon and PJ.
