Omotola Returns To Cinema With Private Storm
After steerring ‘Ije’ to a record cinema success, where she plays the lead role, star actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is back again in the cinema, this time in Vivian Ejike’s latest effort, ‘Private Storm’.
‘Private Storm,’ directed by the duo of Ikechukwu Onyeka and Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, tells a story of two lovers, Alex (Ramsey Nouah) and Gina (Omotola). They are rich and beautiful, but Alex, who is the prince charming of every woman’s dream, has a temper to deal with.
The story line gets complicated but interesting when the reason behind Alex’s irrational behaviour was revealed while the men on Gina’s trail got a little more intense.
One would have thought that Omotola’s dedication to music would set back her acting proficiency but this is surely not the case as the screen diva once again brought alive the emotions in the script, making ‘Private Storm’ a love story everyone can relate with.
This is not the first time the duo of Vivian and Omotola are working together but this is the first time a movie with production and acting inputs respectively from the two will be going to cinema. Their first major job together was a huge successful and that was ‘When the heart lies’.
‘Private Storm’ will be Omotola’s second cinema run in Nigeria and all eyes are on the scoreboard to watch how far her face and Vivian’s publicity will drive the movie. Having become a major brand which several organisations locally and internationally affiliate with, the sexy actress cum singer will be cynosure of all eyes as she makes a second return to cinema.
For the second time, ‘Private Storm’ will be premiered to select audience at Genesis Deluxe Cinema, Lagos on Wednesday, February 9 and will be available to cinema audience as from February 11.
