Nollywood actress Rita Dominic is scheduled to feature in a movie by a Kenya based Production Company, Dream House Productions. In a release from the actress' management company, BigSam Media, the film titled ‘Shattered' will be directed by Greg Lukalia and produced by Dream House Productions founder, Carol Nguta.
Currently in its pre-production stage, Dominic will play the role of a middle-class citizen who deals with the long term effect of child abuse and years of neglect.
Speaking on why Dominic was selected to feature in the movie, Nguta stated that, she was chosen for her popularity.
"We have been following the Nigerian movie industry for some time and Rita stands out as a very outstanding gifted individual who takes her craft seriously and passionately; she fully embracing the roles she plays. This is in line with our vision at Dream House and we are working hard to make this project successful," Nguta said.
The actress excitedly revealed that signing on the project is a welcome opportunity.
"I love Kenya so this is an opportunity to go back to my home away from home. This is the first of many projects and I could not have chosen a better company. Carol is passionate about the arts. She is a perfectionist so I have no fears at all about the quality of the production" Dominic stated.
Dream House Production is a diversified entertainment company known for producing musicals, live orchestra, and stage plays in Kenya.
