Chocolate City Boys thank Adenuga for Rock ‘n’ Rule


Chocolate City Boys, comprising award winning rapper, MI, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince, have ex-pressed gratitude to the Chairman of Globacom, Dr Mike Adenuga Jr. for the opportunity given them to perform at the ongoing Glo Rock ‘n’ Rule concert.


The performance of the trio has continued to garner accolades from the cities so far covered in the show. They spoke ahead of their next performance in Makurdi, Benue State, this weekend.In Ilorin two weeks ago and in each city where they had performed, the crowd roared each time it was the turn of the Chocolate City Boys. At every performance, they take their individual hit songs in turn and the crowd continue to ask for more.

MI (Jude Abaga) said that Dr Adenuga has distinguished himself as a lover of the arts through his commitment to the growth of Nollywood and the Nigerian music. “It is modest to say that he has committed more money than anyone else to the promotion of entertainment and the well-being of the practitioners in this country.

 We should give kudos to such a colossus,” he said.“There is no better way to say it than to say a big thank you to Dr Adenuga for this wonderful opportunity to meet with thousands of our fans all over the country.”
On his part, Jesse Jagz said that the experience has been an unforgettable one. “I have been humbled by the reception from fans across the cities so far covered and I remain grateful to the Chairman of Globacom, Dr Mike Adenuga, for this sterling opportunity,” he disclosed.

 Meanwhile, the Rock ‘n’ Rule show took Kaduna by storm last Saturday. The event, which was held at the Prison Staff College, Barnawa, had all the spices that have made it the most engaging and entertaining show in recent times in the cities where the show has so far taken place.

Besides parading the best hands in the nation’s entertainment industry to delight the mammoth crowd that witnessed the show, it also rewarded talents in the pageant segment of the show and also youngsters.
