Jimmy Jatt to represent Red Bull Nigeria at Music Academy 2011

Dj Jimmy Jatt has been chosen to represent Red Bull Nigeria at the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy scheduled to hold in Tokyo, Japan later this year.

The academy which featured Nigeria’s fast rising Dj Klem in its last edition, said they decided on Dj Jimmy Jatt, so that the “applicants to the Academy can bank on the quality of their musical works as organisers have assured that merit and nothing else will decide selection for this year’s edition”.

To apply, application forms can be downloaded online from the academy’s website and filled in by the applicant. “The application form must be filled in by you, and you alone,” the coordinators noted. Afterward, applications would be reviewed by an international group of producers, label heads, music journalists, and the academy couch team members. “Every application is read and listened to by at least two people. They’re not influenced by hearsay or propaganda in their decision. It’s simply about you, your music and your personality. Unfortunately, we cannot return any material we receive, so you may want to keep a copy of whatever you submit for yourself. We will not use any of your information for purposes unrelated to the Red Bull Music Academy,” the Academy website reads.
