Rap artiste, Kanye West, has launched back at critics of his clothing line.
It will be recalled that the rapper had debuted his very first women's collection at Paris Fashion week on Saturday but criticisms had followed the event.
According to New York Times writer, Eric Wilson, "Mr. West, the rapper, did not disappoint, if only in terms of creating a scene... There was one good-looking pair of colour-blocked pants in blue and coral, but it was obvious that most of the clothes suffered from a poor fit."
At the after-party to his fashion debut on Saturday night, the rapper launched at critics and slammed the major fashion houses who wanted him to make a "celebrity deal." "Thank you for anybody that didn't believe, because they motivated us to break our boundaries.
We don't know what the reviews will be, we don't know what they will say, but I got a chance to go to Italy, and feel those fabrics. I begged Louis Vuitton to let me do more shoes after my shoes sold out in two weeks, and they did not", he said.
