Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, will come astir this Sunday as comedian, Tunde Adewale or Tee A as he is popularly known, unleashes some of the most sought after entertainers on the city in commemoration of his 15th anniversary as a stand-up comedian.

Tee A is kicking off the first in a series of live ‘TymeOut with Tee A’ concerts at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, and in tow are rave of the moment, Wikid, Naeto C, DJ Neptune, DJ Zeez, Mo’cheedah, JJC and Djinee. Comedians, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, Holy Mallam, Omo Baba, Tunde Ednut, Headmaster, Princess and MC Abbey, are also on the roll call.

Tee A says that he is going all out to celebrate this epoch because he is grateful that he has remained consistent and relevant in an industry where the career span is shortlived. “It’s difficult to believe that we’ve done 15 years already. It all looks like yesterday. But we must celebrate; we must use this opportunity to set a new agenda for the industry, and also challenge ourselves to move on to the next level.” He promises that the concert will feature materials that wormed him to fans, earned him patronage from the rich and famous, and kept him ahead of peers.

A University of Lagos graduate, TEE A has evolved from just a stand up act into a substantive entertainer, entrepreneur, writer and television producer cum host. He is the owner of classy bar and lounge, Tymeout Lounge in Ikeja, Lagos.
