Irresistible actress, Omoni Oboli is on the move again. The talented actress has just clinched another mega job after she returned from South Africa few months back, where she was paid millions of Naira by a multi national company to endorse of Dettol Antiseptic.
The hazel eyed actress signed a deal, described by observers as “another goldmine.” She is billed to star in a movie in Ukraine. The deal was signed in Lagos some weeks back.
Confirming the news , Omoni says, her new job is really a goldmine. For me to say, it’s worth while, means that it’s really worth while.” she affirmed.
According to the award winning actress, the movie has to do with a Nigerian girl whose parents took to Ukraine in search of greener pasture. But she was later to meet with the unexpected as the going get rough for her there. Omoni is billed to play the lead-role.
She said, she is due to travel to Ukraine later this week, where will shoot for one month before returning back to the country. Also, the mother of three kids disclosed that she was chosen among several other Nollywood A-list actresses who were auditioned for the role, by the Ukraine producers who came to Nigeria in search of actresses.
Omoni, last year made history after starring in that award winning movie “ Anchor Baby”,shot in America, and which won her two international awards, the Best Actress at the Los-Angeles Movie Awards and also Best Actress at the Harlem International Film Festival. A development which has helped to raise her profile on the international scene.
